MSAP CADETS BATCH 6 EMBARK ONBOARD TSKFO

An Embarkation Ceremony of one hundred twenty (120) cadets from various maritime schools in the country was held last 26 July 2013 at 1000H at Pier 13, Manila South Harbor.

For Batch 6, IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. selected qualified cadets from among passers of the 2012 Maritime School Assessment Program (MSAP) examinations.

This batch consisted of sixty (60) deck and sixty (60) engine cadets who boarded the TS Kapitan Felix Oca. They will undergo three (3) months of supervised shipboard training before they join commercial ships.

Their training is sponsored by the IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. to better enhance the skills of the cadets and to prepare them to a career at sea.

Present during the ceremony were Captain Ted Quijano, Vice President of IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Dr. Conrad Oca, President of AMOSUP, Admiral Eduardo Ma. R. Santos, President of MAAP, Captain Tetsuya Hakozaki, IMMAJ Manila Representative, Captain Kiyoshi Oikawa, Chairman of Training Committee, and other distinguished guests.
