The last delivery of the IMO Model Course 3.12 - Training Course for Assessors, offered by the IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. was completed on 16 November 2018.

A total of twenty five (25) participants from the Philippine Association of Maritime Institutions (PAMI) and from the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) completed the training.

The main objective of the course is to provide knowledge and skills for trainees to administer, supervise and monitor training and assessment of seafarer competence in accordance with the provisions of Section A-I/6 of the STCW Code.

The 10-day course was facilitated by seasoned industry instructors, Dr. Christopher P. Maambong and Ms. Ana Maria Jasmin M. Sampedro.

A graduation ceremony was held on the last day of training. During the ceremony, Mr. Wenifredo G. Sola, IMMAJ-PJMCC Projects Consultant gave congratulatory remarks to all the graduates. Likewise, Certificates of Attendance were awarded to all the graduates. After the graduation, a simple merienda was shared by all the participants.
