The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. is pleased to furnish the membership the attached Updating Management Level Course (MLC) and Updating Operational Level Course (OLC) schedule for MARCH 2016:

As previously announced, PTPs will collect a standard discounted rate of P700.00 per day from Officer-Trainees enrolling in Updating MLC or Updating OLC. In order to avail of the discounted rate, Officer-Trainees should secure a referral from the IMMAJ-PJMCC Joint Secretariat Office (JSO), which should be presented to the PTP upon enrollment. The procedure for requesting referral is as follows:

1. The Officer-Trainee shall approach his Training/Crewing Manager to confirm his availability for training and to signify his preferred training center and schedule.

2. The company’s Training/Crewing Manager shall send the following particulars to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it :

• Name of Deck/Engine Officer-Trainee
• Preferred Training Center and Training Schedule
• Personal History Form (please click)

3. The JSO shall confirm receipt of the message by reply email and send the Referral Slip (please click), to the Training/Crewing Manager.

4. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, the Training/Crewing Manager shall print the Referral Slip and hand-over the same to the Officer-Trainee.

5. Officer-Trainee shall proceed directly to the PTP to enroll in accordance with the Training Center’s procedures.

We highly encourage all PJMCC Member Companies to send their Officer-Trainees to IMMAJ-PJMCC PTPs for their Updating MLC or Updating OLC requirements. Slots with PTPs have been reserved especially for IMMAJ-PJMCC shipboard officers to ensure compliance to the 2010 Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention and Code before the full implementation date of 01 January 2017.
