The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. conducted the IMMAJ Cadets’ Day last 14 December 2012, at the MAAP JSU-IMMAJ Campus, Mariveles, Bataan. A quiz bee, sponsor company interaction, personality workshop and a Christmas party were organized for all cadets at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific.

The All-Japan Seaman’s Union (JSU) and the International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ) have announced today the establishment and opening of a state-of-the-art training facility for Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) in Manila, Philippines. Considered to be the most modern (ECDIS) training provider in Asia, the project was initiated by IMMAJ using funds made available by JSU for this purpose.

The Philippine-Japan Manning Consultative Council (PJMCC) recognized the achievements of maritime schools in the country with an Awarding Ceremony under the Maritime School Assessment Program (MSAP) High Performing Schools. The Awarding Ceremony was held last September 26, 2012, Wednesday at the Assembly Hall, 7th Floor, JSU-AMOSUP Mariners' Home Annex, 1970-1980 Hidalgo Lim St, Malate, Manila. A total of eighteen (18) maritime institutions from different parts of the Philippines was honored for their outstanding performance in the MSAP examinations from 2007-2012.
