JSU-IMMAJ Class 2012 Scholars Get Ready to Board

The All Japan Seaman’s Union (JSU) and the International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ) hosted a luncheon to the graduating cadets of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Class 2012 at the Campus Mess Hall, MAAP, Mariveles, Bataan after their graduation ceremony last June 16, 2012.

A short program was held with Philippine-Japan Manning Consultative Council (PJMCC) Vice President Capt. Teodoro B. Quijano welcoming the parents, graduates, principals and other guests. IMMAJ Chairman, Mr. Tsutomu Iizuka and PJMCC President, Mr. Eduardo U. Manese sent their well wishes to the graduates who are the beneficiaries of the scholarship program bestowed upon by JSU, IMMAJ and PJMCC.

After the luncheon the cadets met with their respective principals and representatives of their manning agencies. Amid the celebration and well wishes, they had a briefing to discuss how they will begin a new career at sea that awaits them.
