IMMAJ-PJMCC CONDUCTS IMO MODEL COURSE 3.12 TRAINING FOR ASSESSORS FOR PAMI MEMBER SCHOOLS

The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. conducted another batch of IMO Model Course 3.12 from 07 to 18 May 2018 at JSU-AMOSUP Mariner’s Home 1765 Vasquez St. corner Nakpil St., Malate, Manila.

The course was attended by 22 participants from Philippine Association of Maritime Institutions (PAMI) member maritime higher education institutions.

The 10-day course aims to train the attendees on applying international provisions concerning the training, assessment, examination and certification of masters, officers and ratings of merchant vessels.  As future assessors, the trainees shall be able to organize, administer and conduct assessments and examinations.

The training was provided FREE of charge for all participants. Likewise, participants were provided with hand-outs/compendium, access to training-related materials, printing and photocopying services, and meals for the entire duration of training.

The course was facilitated by two (2) experienced instructors namely, CE Christopher P. Maambong and Ms. Nilda C. Garcia.
