IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. completes Third Delivery of IMO Model Course 3.12 Training for Assessors

The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. recently completed the third delivery of the IMO Model Course 3.12, also known as Training for Assessors, from 18 to 29 June 2018 at the JSU-AMOSUP Mariner’s Home 1765 Vasquez St. corner Nakpil Sts., Malate, Manila. The course was attended by 20 participants from various PJMCC manning companies.

The IMO Model Course 3.12 aims to provide knowledge and skills for trainees to administer, supervise and monitor training and assessment of seafarer competence in accordance with the provisions of Section A-1/6 of the STCW Code.

The course was facilitated by experienced industry instructors namely CE Christopher P. Maambong and Ms. Nilda C. Garcia.

During the graduation ceremony, congratulatory remarks were given by Capt. Lito G. Ramos, Class President, and CE Marc A. Lozano, Class Vice President. Capt. Yasuteru Shigeta, IMMAJ Manila Representative, also delivered an inspiring message to the participants.
