IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation Delivers Second Batch of IMO Model Course 3.12

After two (2) years of suspension due to the ongoing pandemic, the IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation resumed face-to-face delivery of IMO Model Course 6.09 (Training The IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. successfully delivered the second batch of IMO Model Course 3.12 Assessment, Examination and Certification of Seafarers from 25 April to 06 May 2022 at the IMMAJ-PJMCC Training Center, JSU-AMOSUP Mariner’s Home, 1765 Vasquez St. corner Nakpil Sts., Malate, Manila.

This 10-day course aims to train the participants on applying international provisions concerning the training, assessment, examination and certification of masters, officers and ratings of merchant vessels.

Four (4) participants from PJMCC member-manning agencies and the IMMAJ-PJMCC Foundation attended the Course. One (1) participant, who was part of the IMO Model Course 3.12 Class that was suspended in March 2020 due to the pandemic - joined the group on the last three (3) days of the course. The class was facilitated by seasoned Instructor Ms. Ana Maria Jasmin M. Sampedro.

A simple graduation ceremony was held on the last day of the training. During the ceremony, certificates of attendance were awarded to the graduates by Capt. Gerry T. Chan, IMMAJ-PJMCC Training Coordinator for Deck, and the Lead Instructor, Ms. Sampedro.
