Eastgate Maritime Training Center, Inc. (EMTCI) was established in Mandaluyong City on April of 2006 and is now a premier provider of quality in-house training programs and technical courses for maritime professionals. Courses were developed for its clients to enhance their crew's knowledge, skills and to raise their safety awareness onboard different types of vessels. Equipment such as the Bridge Ship Simulator, ECDIS Simulator, Marine Electrical and Generator Panel and CBT Programs among others were purchased and installed to upgrade its’ trainees’ competence to cope up with trends in the industry.

To meet the demands of its clients and the requirement of the industry, a new TRAINING CENTER and DORMITORY BUILDING were constructed in Block 32 Lot 1-14, Mangoville, Salitran IV, Dasmariñas City, Cavite. The new site sits in a 4,830 square-meter facility with 3- storey dormitory building that has a 180-bed space capacity for our seafarers who will undergo trainings. EMTCI aims to provide a more convenient environment conducive to learning. In addition to the training school, the new training complex is compounded with a swimming pool, welfare facilities and parking spaces. The facility was inaugurated last September 30, 2017 in order to serve its clients better.

EMTCI does not only cater to seafarers but also to land-based and other skilled workers who seek a higher quality of training and education that meet the industry’s standards. Presently, EMTCI offer STCW Marina Accredited Course such as MLC-DECK F1,F2& F3, ECDIS and SSBT and a TESDA Accredited Assessment Center for SMAW NC I & NCII .

New maritime courses are on the horizon, such as Basic Safety Training (BT) and other STCW Courses. It is also EMTCI’s intention to augment as Practical Assessment Center for Tesda Courses such as GMAW NC 1 & II, FCAW NC I & II, GTAW NC I & II, SMAW I & II, ELECTRICAL NC I & II. SHIP'S COOK NC I & II, Housekeeping, Bread and Pastry Making, and Food Processing among others.
