The Philippine-Japan Manning Consultative Council (PJMCC) recognized the achievements of maritime schools in the country with an Awarding Ceremony under the Maritime School Assessment Program (MSAP) High Performing Schools. The Awarding Ceremony was held last September 26, 2012, Wednesday at the Assembly Hall, 7th Floor, JSU-AMOSUP Mariners' Home Annex, 1970-1980 Hidalgo Lim St, Malate, Manila. A total of eighteen (18) maritime institutions from different parts of the Philippines was honored for their outstanding performance in the MSAP examinations from 2007-2012.

The All Japan Seaman’s Union (JSU) and the International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ) hosted a luncheon to the graduating cadets of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) Class 2012 at the Campus Mess Hall, MAAP, Mariveles, Bataan after their graduation ceremony last June 16, 2012.

The IMMJ-PJMCC Foundation, Inc. conducted an Orientation Program for the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) cadets of Class 2016 last 11 June 2012 at 0900H. The orientation was held at the multi-purpose hall of the JSU-IMMAJ Campus, MAAP, Mariveles, Bataan.
